Recreation
Superior is full of recreational activities to keep you and your family busy. Between the two parks – City Park along Highway 14 between 7th and 6th Street and Lincoln Park, which is on the west edge of Superior, 4th Street and Wildcat Drive – you’ll find a swimming pool, picnic shelter, a playground area and a band shelter at City Park. You can also find camping facilities, picnic shelters, a playground area, horseshoe pits, sand volleyball courts, disc golf and a pond for catch/release fishing and exercise equipment at Lincoln Park. The green grass and mature cottonwood trees will have you feeling right at home!
Summer and winter recreational activities for youth include swimming, golf, baseball, t-ball, softball, flag football, basketball, track, soccer, reading, Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts.

20 camping pads with electrical and water hookups. Dump station is nearby. No charge for camping but a donation is appreciated.
Disc Golf
Lost Creek Disc Golf Course, located at Lincoln Park, is the exception in disc golf design instead of the norm. The nine hole layout caters to players of all abilities by featuring three distinct sets of tees. This layout will give every skill level of golfer an exciting challenge and memorable experience. This golf course is the only one of its kind in Nebraska.

The Superior golf course is a 9-hole course with a newly built beautiful clubhouse not only for the golfers, but special occasions such as receptions, graduations, etc.
Lovewell Reservoir
Located approximately 7 miles south of Superior where you can camp, boat, ski, fish, Marina for supplies and delicious food if you want a break from cooking – great place to spend the weekend or a week or longer!

The Museum was built in 1974. You can view the history of Superior and surrounding area in Nuckolls County. There are displays in the museum, also Aurand Hall wing, country school house, agricultural hall, old post office, old steeple church and restored railroad car. Memorabilia from each town in the country are displayed.

Superior has one of the few skating rinks in Nebraska open for skating which is great entertainment for all ages.
Swimming
The pool is one of the many attractions in the City Park. The pool was just recently renovated with a large slide being installed providing summer fun for all ages. During the summer call 402 879-3895 for further information.

The tennis Court is located on the north side of Lincoln Park and was recently resurfaced.
