City Police Officer(s)

       The City of Superior Police Department is accepting applications for highly motivated, passionate, and physically fit individuals to join our team as Officers’ and help build a culture of excellence and community service. Applicants must be at least 21 years of age, have a high school diploma or equivalent an have no felony or serious misdemeanor convictions. Additionally, all applicants must have no serious traffic violations and be of good moral character. Applicants must have a valid Nebraska Driver’s License and be in good physical condition. Nebraska Law Enforcement Certification is preferred but not mandatory. Applicants must be willing to work rotating shifts, weekends, nights and holidays.

Utility Billing Clerk

The City of Superior seeks a permanent Utility Billing Clerk.  Duties include, but are not limited to, greeting customers and taking payments, preparing monthly utility billing and delinquent notices, printing and sorting bills, computer file maintenance and receiving and correcting inventory.  Assists customers at the counter and drive-up window, answers phone calls and takes messages.  Depending on abilities, duties may also include accounts receivable/payable, reviewing and posting utility deposits, electronic payments, inventory reports and other accounting work. 

            Position includes monitoring and participating in social media including posting on the city website and Facebook page, responding to requests for information, handling updates and providing content.  Position also includes answering questions and assisting customers with on-line bill pay and advanced metering infrastructure.
