Project BOOM

What is project BOOM?  Building Owner Occupied Momentum is a project focused on the construction of affordable owner occupied infill residential units.  The project is being partially funded by a Nebraska Affordable Housing Trust Fund (NAHTF) Innovative Housing Grant and will build six (6) single family homes.  These homes will be marketed and sold to persons/families that make at or below 120% of Nuckolls County’s median income as set by the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD).

What else do I need to know?  1) The homes will be listed at cost.  2) Up to $5000 of forgivable down payment assistance per home is available.  3) The City is not financing the purchase of these homes. Eligible applicants will be responsible for securing their own financing.  4) All appliances are included in the listed price (Refrigerator, dishwasher, range, microwave, washer and dryer).
